Anti-Violence Program Director

Reiko Ramos (they / them pronouns) is the Appleton youth LGBTQ anti-violence advocate for the Room to Be Safe program.  Reiko works out of the Appleton office focusing on Northeast Wisconsin.  Reiko relocated to Appleton from Hawaii in 2010 and graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton.  Reiko has worked as the LGBTQ services intern for Harmony Café in Appleton and as a community health promoter (CHP) in Appleton for Diverse & Resilient.  For the past three years, Reiko was the leader for the LGBTQ Partnership Youth Services program for Goodwill NCW.  Reiko is passionate about social and racial justice and is excited to join the D&R team!
