Peer Navigator

The Peer Navigator implements the Peer Navigator Program by engaging individuals living with HIV who are facing challenges to medical adherence, medical HIV care services engagement, and achieving viral suppression. The Peer Navigator has experience living with or being impacted by HIV and is familiar with successful navigation of HIV care services and healthcare systems.

Note: this is a pilot program for one year. Continued funding is expected but is contingent upon program performance during pilot year.


Peer Navigator Program Manager

The Peer Navigator Program Manager provides ongoing supervision to a team of Peer Navigators successfully living with HIV who are trained to be mentors to MSM of color facing challenges to medication adherence, medical HIV care services engagement, and achieving viral suppression.

Note: this is a pilot program for one year. Continued funding is expected but is contingent upon program performance during pilot year.

LGBTQ Anti-Violence Program Advocate

An LGBTQ Anti-Violence advocate is part of a team of advocates who provide direct service to survivors of violence, but will work primarily independently in day-to-day work. The primary focus of this advocacy will be intimate partner, sexual assault, hate, and community violence. The role of the advocate is to empower individuals affected by violence by listening, validating their experience, and connecting them to resources needed for them to live safely and independently. An Anti-Violence Advocate develops connections with individuals impacted by violence, other IPV and SA community agencies and any agency within the community that can help provide a safety plan and resources needed on an individual basis.
