Analytics
This site collects demographic and interest reports through Google Analytics using Google advertising cookies and anonymous identifiers. You may opt-out of any website collecting this information by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Cookies

We use Click & Pledge as our online donation payment processing platform. By submitting information via the Donate link, users acknowledge that the information they provide will be transferred to Click & Pledge for processing in accordance with their Privacy Statement.
We use MailChimp as our email newsletter automation platform. By submitting information via the Join Our Email List form, users acknowledge that the information they provide will be transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
We use Salesforce as our online donation tracking and donor management platform. By submitting information via the Donate link, users acknowledge that the information they provide will be transferred to Salesforce for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
The user-submitted information collected by our other forms is stored on this site and is not shared with any third parties. This information is saved for an indefinite period of time in order to aid Diverse & Resilient staff in following up on user requests, but we will honor requests to delete previously-submitted user information.
If you have previously submitted information via one of our forms and would like for that information to be permanently deleted from our site, please email with your first and last name as well as the email address you supplied when filling out the form. We will do our best to process your request within one (1) business week.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. For more information on how to remove location data from images, please click here.
Other
We use Google services to generate maps and provide autocompletion when searching for events by location, which may collect data via your browser in accordance to Google’s privacy policy. We collect and store information you submit to us when making a booking, for the purpose of reserving your requested spaces at our event and maintaining a record of attendance. We collect and store information you submit to us about events (and corresponding locations) you would like to publish on our site. We may use cookies to temporarily store information about a booking in progress as well as any error/confirmation messages whilst submitting or managing your events and locations.

Click & Pledge
We use Click & Pledge to process donations made through our site. This donation information includes a user’s: name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to gather basic demographic information about the users who visit our site. This demographic information includes a user’s: language, country, city, browser, operating system, service provider, screen resolution, and page views.
Note: we are only able to see user data down to the city level. For users inside the United States, this means we could see that a user visited our site from somewhere in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but that’s as detailed as the data gets. For users outside the United States, this means we could see that a user visited our site from somewhere in London, England, but that’s as detailed as the data gets.

MailChimp
We use MailChimp to distribute electronic newsletters to users who register to receive them. This information includes a user’s: name, email address, and United States Postal Service ZIP Code.

We use Salesforce to track donations made to our organization. This donation information includes a user’s: name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.

How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
User data that is shared with Google Analytics is saved for fifty (50) months.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
