Strategic Partnerships Manager

Kristen Ramirez is the Strategic Partnerships Manager at Diverse & Resilient (D&R) leading the organization’s fund development strategies and building reciprocal partnerships with individuals, corporations, and foundations.

She started her career at D&R in 2016 and over the years has supported the organization’s youth programming, grant management, and finance & operations. In addition to working at D&R, she brings in expertise from working at Milwaukee Recreation’s Twilight Centers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Kristen is a heart-led people leader working from the fullness of her Guatemalan & Mexican ancestry & queer identity. She is a libra sun, pisces moon, and capricorn rising who loves tending to her native plant garden, mending / sewing, cooking, and cuddling with her rescue dog Betty. She is inspired by adrienne maree brown’s Emergent Strategy, Tricia Hersey’s Rest is Resistance, and all of those who are dreaming up new realities where everyone is supported, safe, and well.
