Elle is a member of Public Allies Milwaukee Class of 2019 where she is placed at Health Connections, Inc., as a health navigator. She is a member of SHEBA (Sisters Helping Each other Battle Adversity) at Diverse & Resilient where she has been a community health promoter and an SAPG (Statewide Action Planning Group for HIV / AIDS in Wisconsin) member. Elle is an experienced personal fashion / retail stylist, a singer, writer, blogger, and community activist. She is a new member to the City of Milwaukee Equal Rights Commission Select Committee on Inclusive Restrooms for City of Milwaukee buildings, and the Community Advisory Board for Peer Support Specialists with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS). Elle has been a service member / facilitator for ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin) and UMOS (United Migrant Opportunity Services). She was a community canvasser for the Human Rights Campaign in Milwaukee and Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin. She fights for equity and all trans / GNC people LGBT inclusivity, visibility, and sexual health education. She is a trained youth mental health first responder and trans health representative. She is also a new member of the inaugural cohort of the Black AIDS Institute Ambassadorship of Biomedical Prevention. She recently received a Black Trans Advocacy Conference Rising Star Award (May 2019) and a Transfaith Minister Bobbie Jean Baker Memorial Award (June 2019).
