As we prepare to end 2015, I want to thank you for your continued support of Diverse & Resilient.  Your generosity has allowed us to positively impact the LGBTQ community locally and statewide through direct services, youth leadership trainings, capacity-building, and so much more.

This year proved to be a unique challenge with an executive leadership transition and critical health funding sources that we rely on leaving the state of Wisconsin.  However, the agency has continued to excel in providing quality services to the community through evidence-based intervention programs.

With your support, we achieved amazing things this year:

• Our teen condom campaign, 414ALL, debuted at an impressive #6 of Milwaukee Magazine’s “50 Reasons to Love Milwaukee.”
• Acceptance Journeys guided several Ally Trainings with Northwestern Mutual, working with them to practice and further develop their LGBTQ ally skills and toolkits.
• For our CDC funded HIV prevention program, at the end of the third grant year, Diverse & Resilient led all other funded agencies in the number of individuals tested for HIV.
• We partnered with the Milwaukee Art Museum for MAM After Dark to celebrate the Ebony Fashion Fair Exhibit by coordinating a fashion show, giving our participants an opportunity to let their talents shine on the runway.
