D&R has retained the services of Catina Cole as a consultant in the role of therapist advocate for Diverse & Resilient’s anti-violence program in the Milwaukee office.  Survivors of violence who want to connect with Catina, please reach out to an advocate for a referral via our warmline at (414) 856-LGBT (5428).

Catina Cole, Chicago-born and Milwaukee-raised, is a mom, sister, friend, advocate, survivor, creative, flygirl, and owner / operator of Dynamic Counseling and Consulting.  She attended the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and received her master’s degree in educational psychology in community counseling with a focus on trauma counseling.  She has received National Certified Counselor (NCC) board certification.

Catina has an extensive amount of experience working with the BIPOC, LGBTQ, and survivor communities.  She incorporates a person-centered intersectional approach with her clients and those that she advocates for.  She has provided consultation, therapy, and psychoeducation workshops for numerous advocacy organizations in Wisconsin.

In her “free” time, you can find Catina directing plays with MPower Theater, a theater troupe that she formed, finding her light for selfies, singing karaoke, or flying the friendly skies.
