Federlin Joins Diverse and Resilient

Rachel Federlin has been named Program Specialist for Diverse and Resilient, Inc. A graduate of Marlboro College, Rachel comes to Diverse and Resilient with excellent content experience in social justice and LGBT youth program coordination.
Diverse and Resilient is fortunate to have Rachel join the staff in that she exhibits the skill, enthusiasm, and interpersonal relationships necessary to do the important work of LGBT development. Rachel is already knowledgeable about many of the adult and youth projects at Diverse and Resilient; her history as a summer intern and volunteer with the organization have provided Rachel with key experiences that will assist her in quality work with LGBT populations.
Rachel looks forward to using the skills and knowledge this position provides to expand her understanding of public health and models of systemic oppression to assist her in her long-term aspirations for graduate school.
The search process to fill this position was a short one. In a couple of weeks, several excellent candidates applied for the position. Three were selected for personal interviews, and staff were impressed with all three. Rachel was selected because of her unique blend of experience, vitality, and academic preparation. Diverse and Resilient is also cheering on the other candidates to continue their pursuit of work in LGBT organizations.
