This month, Tyler Hadley joins Diverse and Resilient, Inc. as our first Public Ally, taking a position as Program Intern. He will be working closely with his supervisor, Mark O’Neil, Program Coordinator, with a specific emphasis on youth programming.
While Tyler says that he loves to make people laugh, his strong skills in a variety of office areas are no laughing matter. Tyler is also a member of the Honorable House of Infiniti in Milwaukee. As a House member, Tyler is committed to ending transmission of HIV disease among African American men who have sex with men (MSM). During his 10-month internship, Tyler is interested in learning more about HIV prevention and about program development. He plans to use the skills he learns in addressing the needs of his community.
He enjoys a rich and active family and social life. When asked about his favorite pastimes, Tyler quickly responds, “I love to shop and I love to hold other people’s babies.”
The Board of Directors, Gary Hollander, Executive Director, and Mark O’Neil, Program Coordinator, are delighted to have been matched with Tyler in the Public Allies’ selection process. We will all find the experience one in which we will learn and stretch.
