  • AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW)

    The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin is home to the ARCW Medical Center – Wisconsin’s largest and fastest growing HIV health care system. Through its integrated medical, dental and mental health clinics along with its pharmacy and dedicated social services that include food pantries, a legal program, and social work case management, more than 3,300 HIV patients in Wisconsin gain the health care and social services they need for long-term survival with HIV disease from ARCW.

    The Alliance School is a year-round school and a safe place for students regardless of sexuality, identity, appearance, ability or beliefs. Students considering Alliance should be open to working with students of all backgrounds and abilities. Academic excellence and the pursuit of higher education are expectations for all students.   • BESTD Clinic

    The mission of the Brady East STD Clinic is to provide quality, professional sexually transmitted disease diagnosis and treatment as well as HIV/AIDS prevention counseling and testing in a manner that is sensitive to the sexual orientation and gender identity of our clients.

  • Black Health Coalition

    Since its inception, the BHCW has been at the forefront of health issues that have impacted African Americans and other underprivileged populations in the state of Wisconsin. Whether issuing a Health Manifesto to public or private officials, or rallying for equitable access to health care for minorities, the BHCW has gained the reputation of being the voice for underprivileged populations that go unheard all too often.

  • Black Trans Advocacy Coalition (BTAC)

    The Black Trans Advocacy Coalition is the only national social justice organization led by black trans and GNC people. Their mission is to help improve the black trans human experience by overcoming violence and injustice in the world through the power, value and love of all people.

  • Brico Fund

    Through dynamic approaches, Brico Fund builds the collective capacity of people and organizations to actively and sustainably improve the civic, cultural and natural environments.

  • Center for AIDS Intervention Research (CAIR)

    CAIR faculty and staff are dedicated to the development, conduct, and evaluation of new strategies to prevent HIV among persons most vulnerable to the disease. CAIR’s research also focuses on the prevention of adverse health and mental outcomes among persons living with HIV infection and their loved ones.

  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

    CDC works 24/7 to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S. Whether diseases start at home or abroad, are chronic or acute, curable or preventable, human error or deliberate attack, CDC fights disease and supports communities and citizens to do the same.

  • Center for Urban Population Health

    At its heart, the Center is committed to population health and connections to communities in Wisconsin’s urban areas. To make a difference in people’s lives, scientific knowledge about population health must be interwoven with community partnerships. Therefore, the Center has chartered a course to engage in meaningful partnerships with multiple stakeholders in order to advance research and evaluation aimed at improving the public’s health.

  • Chippewa Valley LGBT Community Center

    Our goal at Chippewa Valley LGBTQ+ is to create a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth in our community. With your help, we will open a physical space for young people in the Chippewa Valley to gather and feel welcome.

    Cream City Foundation mobilizes philanthropic resources by harnessing the pride, passion, and commitment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their allies to advance the human rights and respond to the human needs of LGBT people in Southeastern Wisconsin.

  • Cross Lutheran Church

    Cross operates many programs and services targeted at assisting those in our community. Over the years, many of our initiatives have grown, flourished, and become self-sustaining organizations in their own right, and continue to help the greater Milwaukee area today.

  • Fair Wisconsin

    Fair Wisconsin Inc. works to build a fair, safe, and inclusive Wisconsin for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people by advancing, achieving, and protecting LGBT civil rights through lobbying, legislative advocacy, grassroots organizing, coalition building and electoral involvement.

  • FORGE

    FORGE is a national transgender anti-violence organization, founded in 1994. Since 2009, we have been federally funded to provide direct services to transgender, gender non-conforming and gender non-binary survivors of sexual assault.

  • Greater Milwaukee Foundation AIDS Fund

    The AIDS Fund provides an ongoing source of support for programs aimed at preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and for care and treatment for those who have been infected. The fund supports programs in Wisconsin, primarily in the greater Milwaukee area.

  • Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin

    The LGBT Partnership is an ongoing leadership development and support group for youth ages 14-18 who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning and allied.

  • Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program

    The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment, stewarded by the Medical College of Wisconsin, has a mission to work with partners to serve as a catalyst for positive change in the health of Wisconsin communities.

    The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center is dedicated to serving the needs of LGBTQ people and to making the Greater Milwaukee area safer and more inclusive. We focus our programming around anti-violence, healthy relationships, counseling, and financial coaching.

    Miltown Movement is a community-led health awareness campaign dedicated to giving the Milwaukee Community, particularly Black gay and bisexual men and transgender women, resources for sexual health empowerment.

    PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

    The mission of Milwaukee Pride, Inc. is a) to educate both the general community and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities about needs, issues and various aspects of LGBT culture; b) to provide a forum to celebrate the history and accomplishments of LGBT people; c) to create an environment for networking and outreach for services and community opportunities for LGBT people and their families and friends; and d) any other activities exclusively for charitable, educational, and research purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

    Project Q (PQ) is a youth development program and safe space serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied youth ages 13 to 24. PQ is an accepting, affirming, drug and alcohol-free environment where LGBT+ youth can identify and express themselves without fear of ridicule and harassment, fostering positive growth.

    Founded over 20 years ago, the Teens Like Us Program’s main goal is to provide support and education for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer youth ages 13-18. The group serves lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth as well as youth questioning their sexuality. Youth from LGBT-headed families may also participate in TLU.

    Making sure that all women and girls are a part of the economic mainstream. Our grantees are promoting economic justice, financial stability and self-sufficiency for women including creating fair economic policies that enable employment to be a way out of poverty rather than another form of poverty.

    Wraparound Milwaukee is a unique system of care for children with serious emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs and their families.
