Diane Pollard, PhD
Diane was a Professor of Educational Psychology at UWM for over 30 years. She taught in the areas of Human Development and Multicultural Studies and continues to do research on coping and achievement in African American children and the intersections of race / ethnicity and gender. Though officially retired from UWM, Dr. Pollard continues to work on a variety of projects with underserved and / or underrepresented populations in the Milwaukee area. She and her husband, Scott, are parents of two grown children.
