D&R Hiring for New Positions

Diverse and Resilient, Inc. seeks to hire three skilled, enthusiastic, engaged team members to advance health and prevent HIV disease in the Greater Milwaukee Area. The people who fill these full-time positions will work effectively with internal and external partners in the public and non-profit sectors to address HIV prevention and other related health disparities. They must be eager and competent to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural organization focused on the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. The work is exciting, engaging, varied, and challenging.
HIV Prevention Manager: Leads risk prevention and health promotion activities for adult African American gay and bisexual men and other MSM. This person is responsible for project development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The person should have significant experience with presenting to adult learners; Master’s degree preferred, but bachelor’s degree with three years of related experience may be substituted.
Data Manager: Responsible for all aspects of data use from collection through reporting. Produces status reports, recommends new methods of documentation, creates and revises procedural manuals as needed. This person is the primary liaison to mandated data reporting processes for state and federal contracts. Master’s degree preferred, but bachelor’s degree with three years of related experience may be substituted.
Program Assistant: Aids directors and managers in projects by taking an active participatory role. This person is responsible for major portions of project implementation, coordinating complex meetings and their related agenda items. The person will maintain organizational files and records and respond to a variety of questions that require substantial knowledge of HIV prevention. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but high school diploma with four years of related experience may be substituted.
